FAQs
What is Nutritional Therapy?
Nutritional Therapy takes a holistic approach to find the underlying cause of a health concern rather than focusing
on the symptoms. The Nutritional Therapist looks at each
client as an individual, assessing their dietary, lifestyle and environmental factors. We work with diet, supplements and functional testing to achieve nutritional balance, encourage wellbeing and optimise performance.

How will it benefit me?
Nutritional Therapy sessions can help support: healthy digestion / better energy levels / weight loss / optimise performance / increase tolerance to a wide range of foods / natural detoxification / emotional and psychological wellbeing / optimise fertility / a stronger immune system. It can be hard to make food and lifestyle changes on our own, I work with you to find easy solutions to enable you to do this.

What you can expect from seeing a Nutritional Therapist?
It is important for me to gather as much information about your current health as possible to assess any possible nutritional imbalances and what might be contributing to your weight and / or the symptoms you are experiencing. So the process begins with a questionnaire including a 3-day food diary. At the initial consultation you will be asked to confirm your health goal, following some questions I will feedback to you what I think might be going on and why. We will then create a health plan together for you to follow.

What will it cost?
I offer a range of packages which I am happy to talk through. Supplements and any functional tests are charged separately.
If you need to cancel an appointment please provide as much notice as possible, if it is less than 24 hours notice 20% of the fee maybe payable.

What do I come away with?
After the consultation I finalise the health plan, which is based on the recommendations we have discussed in the session along with examples, any further information and supplement plan if relevant. Once ready, I will email you pdfs of these documents along with any recipes that I think you might like
and find helpful.

How many sessions will I need?
This depends on your health goal and your current state of health, we can discuss this on a ‘taster’ call or at the initial consultation. There is never a definitive number but I can give you an estimation.
